A Little Bit Not
Out now
The songs were built out of what was lying around. A bottle set down between a couple not knowing where the night ends. A passenger seat with nothing in it, and a lot of road left to drive. There's one about what fame costs and who pays it, and one about a country hollering at itself across a dinner table.
The title track is about a man who spent years swearing he hated country music, until a song came on a farm radio and got past him, and about a first dance that settled the argument for good.

About
Barely Sacred is a country and rock project from Ricky Eltzroth. It started as a way of sorting the meaningful parts of life from the chaos, and the struggle of finding identity and worth in a world where nothing is sacred.
The songs aren't trying to repeat what's already on the radio. They're about what's left standing after the storm gets its turn.
How the songs are made
Lyrics by me, AI helps me draft. Music and voice from AI, not the first take, but the one that said it right.
